6 Dec - A private junk trip to celebrate Geoff's 40th birthday. Not a surprise party as Geoff hates surprises. It was a very cold day - coldest since winter started. But it was a success - no major hiccups and we had great fun. Still have not sorted the photos yet.
13 Dec - Andrea went to CIS for her interview. We tried our best to prepare her for it. Now, just have to keep praying until March when they will inform us the outcome.
11 Dec - Problem with project, revenue pressure, very stressed.
24 Dec - Went back to KL for Christmas. A new experince for the kids as Christmas is not a big thing in Malaysia. They were wondering why there were so little Christmas decorations....I think they were a bit worried initially, but Santa managed to find them and delivered they presents! A happy ending.
4 Jan - Tasha returned to HK with a terrible allergic reaction to the insect repellent she used when in KL. Face was swollen, rashes on hands and legs. Had to take steriods to control the outbreak. She was out of action for a whole week.
Last 2 weekends - Running around like a headless chicken trying to buy winter clothings (for real winter) and ski gear for all 4 of us (imagine - start with nothing - had to buy from head to toe).
Today - Problem with project solved. Kids healthy. Shopping done. Clearing my desk and waiting to go to Whistler for CNY break!
More when we return in February.
