Langkawi

While in Malaysia for the Easter break, we took a 3-day trip to Langkawi staying at the Andaman Resort. It is a nice resort, nestled in the midst of Malaysia's rain forest. Too many bugs for my liking but, as always, the kids had fun.

I recent bought the new Olympus waterproof camera. Didn't have the chance to test the functions until now. I left the "above water" shots to Ai-lan who had a proper camera with her and tried to take some underwater ones instead. Took us all - photographers and subjects - some time to get used to taking and having photos taken underwater. Believe me, it is not easy to pose underwater. Anyways, the underwater shots turned out to be rather cool! The movie clips are even more fun!

This is Tasha practising snorkeling in the swimming pool with her new snorkeling gear.

As the Andaman Resort is right next to The Datai, one of the world's top resorts, we couldn't resist not going over for a peek. It is a very nice resort. Unique in its location in the rain forest. As with all luxury resorts, it is not one for children. Here are some photos:
