We haven't had a wedding in the family for sometime, so it's an exiting event for all. 23rd January 2010 is THE day. After months of pouring over wedding dresses, invitation cards, flowers etc etc, the day finally arrived.
We flew back from HK to attend the wedding. As my daughters are both flower girls, I felt that since I am the mother of the flower girls, I'd better look my best. For this, I lost 10 pounds, got a new hair style and a couple of glamorous dresses. This turned out to be worth every penny spent!
Here are some of the photos of the day.
Part 1: The groom to "pick-up" the bride
Getting ready with a cup of cha
to get her....but we wouldn't let him get to her so easily
He's here....but not allowed to get out of the car.....
.....coz his door "man" is not ready
Clive, the door man, getting ready
Pull Clivey, pull!
And the groom turns to his support team
Last challenge.....which key???
Finally, the groom gets to the bride!
Tasha is puzzled by all these kissing
I guess the little ones too

Starts with mum and dad
We are some where in the middle after the uncles and aunties

See how eager we are to send her off? Hahahaa

Here comes the happy couple
.....coz his door "man" is not ready
which represents the experiences of life - 甜酸苦辣
Part 2: Tea ceremony
After the exchanges of angpows, jewelry, etc Kelvin is officially one of us! The tea ceremony is followed by lots of family photos before we sent Wei off to her in-laws.
