There's fireworks display at the Victoria Harbour every year on CNY, HK Handover Day and China's National Day. We rarely venture out to see it coz we have crowd-phobia (there must be a name for this). We usually just watch it on TV. This year, however, Geoff's new office is in IFC 2 which has a good view of the harbour. So, we decided to give it a try.
The fireworks were scheduled to go on at 9pm for 23 minutes. We ventured out at about 8pm. Despite traffic control, road blocks etc, we managed to find a carpark close by.
Dropped by for some frozen yogurt before.......
.....going up to where dad works - KDB.......
......took a couple of photos at dad's desk........
......and then settled down in time for the fireworks.
I think it was good fun. The view was clear. May be next year we will try to see it outdoor.
