Photo with Santa

This time each year is one of my worst nightmare coz it is time for a photo with Santa!!! You never know whether your kid will co-operate (by sitting on Santa's lap) or not (worse case, scream hysterically in front of a long line of waiting parents and children). But, as we are good parents, we try.

Every year (at least for as long as I have Tasha) in HK, Pacific Place shopping mall hosts the most realistic Santa. Although the cousins were in town earlier this month, we never made it to see Santa together...what a shame...may be next year.

On Tuesday, after Tasha's Christmas concert, we came back to Pacific Place for lunch. Since there is no queue, I couldn't resist letting Tasha had a go first. This year, she is older and is willing to sit on Santa's lap but she is still terribly shy - though she managed to tell Santa she wants a tamaguchi for Christmas!

Yesterday, we took both kids to visit Santa. After seeing Tasha's photo with Santa, Andrea said she is ok to take photo with Santa. Let's see. The warm up session inside Santa's house seemed to go well.....

So did the prelude to the photo with Santa.


But as we move closer to Santa, she started to fidget. When we got to Santa's sofa, she won't even look at him!!! Well, at least she didn't cry!
