How do I get myself in this situation every November? As with last November, time just passed me by and I find myself, once again, behind in "cataloging" my life......
Anyways, just a few lines to give an update on our lives during the last few months, with details to follow of course. After school started in September, life sort of fell into a routine.
Beginning of October, we had a wonderful visitor from the UK. A friend whom I have not seen since I left the UK, so that would be about 15 years! And silly me, I didn't take any photos the few times we were out. So, Marcella, I will have to "steal" some of your photos from Facebook!
Next came my sister and her husband-to-be came for a photo shoot in HK. It was good timing as the kids were on mid term break and could spend time with them. And I could make someone else take them to Ocean Park! Hahahaha
Later part of the week, we took the kids to Beijing for a 5-day cultural break. Although there were just too many tourists for my liking, it was still a wonderful trip. And the timing was just perfect! One week earlier, there was apparently a cool front with gale force wind and one week later there was a snow storm in Beijing! We were soooo lucky!
Then on Sat 31st October, I had a small birthday party for Andrea. This was her very first birthday party. Previously, we just had a cake cutting session for her during our annual Halloween party. This year, she start school at CIS and has her own friends. So, she wanted a proper party of her own. What can I say.
This is then followed by our annual Halloween party. We were so efficient, putting up Halloween decorations in the hour we had in between birthday party and Halloween party! As always, lots of fun and candy.
