Knitting

I don't know why but I have always wanted to learn how to knit. I tried to learn (to teach myself) but can't seem to master it. I even signed Tasha up for a knitting class one summer. Just one of those things in life.........

Anyways, last year, I got Tasha a children's knitting kit. It consisted of a wheel and a needle (more like a crochet needle than a knitting needle). More importantly, the end product did resembled a knitted scarf and we were both very please with ourselves!

Recently I received an email asking for knitted scarves for children in Mongolia for Christmas. And I thought, since the children can't tell the difference, why not give it a try? So, armed with the wheel and needle, I intent to come up with a few scarves! Here is my first work-in-progress. Wish me luck!
