Weekend in Disneyland

Before school started again after the mid term break, we took the girls to Hong Kong Disneyland for a mini weekend break. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel.

The girls were not very impressed by the deco - said it looked just like any other hotel - which unfortunately was true. They were more interested in the characters who presented themselves in the hotel lobby from time to time. They met Cruella (whom I think was very interesting but I forgot to take a picture) and Mulan.

They also liked the idea of their little bathrobes and slippers.

After we checked-in, we made our way to Disneyland which at this time is full of Halloween decorations.

Tasha had been to Disneyland many times already. Andrea had only been twice before, but some how it seemed a bit different this time. It was as if her mind eyes had just opened. This was like a first trip to her. She was so excited. Running around, shouting out the names of the characters she now recognised and remembered!

What better way to start the trip than a photo with Sleeping Beauty?

First stop, the newly opened It's A Small World ride.

Followed by their usual rides.....

And we stayed for the Halloween parade and the fireworks before we headed back to the hotel for a nice shower and room service!

The next day, we had breakfast at The Enchanted Garden. The girls were so busy looking out for the characters, the food was wasted on them!

After breakfast, we had a quick walk round the hotel before we headed over to Disneyland again!

For more rides......
