November

November sort of just zoomed past me and before I realised it, half of November was gone. It had been a very “busy” 3 weeks in November for me. It started with “happy busy” - organizing our annual Halloween party and Andrea’s birthday events. That followed by “quiet busy” – quietly waiting for others to celebrate my birthday for me. And it ended with “desperately busy” – desperately trying to look busy in this market as all financial institutions (including my company) started to cut staff this week ahead of the year end.

Now that the cutting is done – for now. Life is sort of back to normal. So, I will take this window of opportunity to update the events in our lives, starting with Halloween.

As with prior years, we had a Halloween party together with a cake cutting thingy for Andrea. Lucky for the kids, this year’s Halloween was on a Friday. So, no need to rush. The kids had a leisurely dinner before setting out to trick-or-treat. We split the kids into 2 teams (once again thanks to Phil and Fred). With smaller teams, the leaders were able handle them better and they managed to work 3 blocks – one more than last year!

Halloween photos are not yet available as our camera didn’t work properly and I had to collect photos from various sources.
