Lost in Translation
In countries where the majority of the population does not speak English, it is not surprising that the English translations of some of the notices and signs are not entirely accurate. This gives rise to some really funny signs. I came across a couple of these funny signs when in China.
When touring a factory in Guangxi, I saw this sign. Had me in stitches! Couldn’t resist taking a photo of this.
This one I saw in Dayan, Lijiang. Pills?! Imagine asking the hawker for a bowl of Fish Pill Noodle!!
