If you have seen our European photos, you will note that Tasha’s favourites are ice cream (she practically had one every day and lucky for her, it was summer there and with the heat wave going through Europe, you can’t really deny her the ice cream) and candy floss (this is new to her and she got one every time we go to a “Tivoli”, so to her candy floss is fun fair food).
Lucky for Tasha, she has many relatives around the world and a mummy who is addicted to online shopping. This time, thanks to Auntie Ai-lan and Uncle Michael once again (they have been bringing us stuff from all over the world!) who brought the candy floss maker all the way from the UK to KL and Grandma Lee brought it to Hong Kong. She was really excited about the candy floss machine. I told her on Sunday night that if she is a good girl on Monday (such as no fussing when she wakes up at 6.30am and finish dinner quickly), we will make candy floss on Monday night.
Yup, you guessed it! She was SUPER good. With Grandma Lee and Yi Po in town, the girls sleep with us. I did not hear a thing when the maids got her ready for school. And for the first time, she finished her dinner (both her rice and soup) at the same time as we did. So, I kept my promise and we made candy floss.
The little machine was not as powerful as the ones at the fair but it WORKS! She had a dwarf one but she is happy with it. Andrea who looked curiously at the machine also wanted one coz Che Che had one! Need to practise a few more times to perfect it..........I am sure the kids won't object.
