Day 2 - Dijon

The next day we woke up a wonderful breakfast and a chance to explore the house a little. The house is filled to the brim with antiques and stuff collected over a few life times. The kids were very fascinated by the birds, the cat and the 150-year-old turtle!

After breakfast, we ventured into Dijon for a bit of sight seeing.

And our very deprived children cannot resist the merry-go-round

Lunch at Au bon Pantagruel

After lunch, we continued to explore Dijon. We found a Maille shop and brought home many different flavours of Dijon mustard and spread.

On the way back from Dijon, while the kids are fast a sleep in the car, we drove along the 74km Route des Grands Crus which went through many little towns and vineyards. Too tired to stop for photo ops but at least we can say we have been on it!
Before we ventured out for dinner, we were invited for a pre-dinner drinks and the kids had another run around the manor.
