Day 8 - Notre Dame

As we planned to visit NY in the summer, I wanted to show the girls the other statue of liberty. So, while Geoff and the girls were exploring the exterior of Notre Dame, I went in search of a cruise that can take us there. Unfortunately, none goes as far as that, so no luck seeing the other lady this time.

We then went inside the Notre Dame. Once again there was a mass on and we had to be quiet. While in there, Tasha lit a candle for her grandfather who passed a year ago.

We also walked around the Notre Dame. The view along the garden and from the other side is different and I think much nicer.

The girls could never resist a playground

After Notre Dame, we strolled along River Seine in search for lunch. Today's lunch was at Restaurant L’epigramme. A very small restaurant with a very limited menu. But the food is out of this world!

After lunch, we went for a walk in the Latin Quarter and then to La Bon Marche - mainly for the food department. There we bought food for dinner as well as confit de canard to bring home. Yummmmm!
