Day 6: Back to San Francisco

Today we ventured back into San Francisco.

No visit to San Francisco is complete without a ride on the cable car.

Finally, we got on!

Next stop - the original Swenson ice cream parlor. Apparently Uncle Bill knew Mr. Swenson - he used to get free ice cream from Mr. Swenson when he was a kid. How cool is that! And my hot caramel ice cream sundae is to die for!!!

To burn off our ice cream, we walked to and then down famous Lombard Street.

And then to where we could get a view of the city with Coit Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

Next we drove to the Palace of Fine Arts.

Before we headed home, we drove around the neighbourhoods in San Francisco and oggled at the multi million $$$ mansions. One day....one day.....we'll get there......one day......
