Portofino

Today we left Tuscany and drove up to the Ligurian Coast (the "Italian Riviera"). After about 5 hours of driving, we arrived at our base for the next 2 days, Santa Margherita. Once we freshened up, we took a €1 bus ride to Portofino. Once again, I am glad we didn't drive as the road between Santa Margherita and Portofino is very narrow (and the bus we took was a full size public bus!).

Portofino is a beautiful little seaside town and is also a town which knows no recession. Straight off the bus stop, we saw a Hermes shop. Then Gucci, Dior.........you know what I mean.

Can't afford a meal here, so we settled for a drink instead
